Real Carbon Fiber vs Carbon-Look

Carbon fiber steering wheels are built in different ways, and the price usually tells you which one you are getting. Our B9 wheels are made with genuine 3K carbon fiber — hand-laid carbon cloth under a UV-stable clear coat. The weave you see is real, not a printed film or hydro-dipped pattern.

Three quick ways to tell real carbon from a carbon-look part:

• Weave depth: real carbon has visible depth under the clear coat; printed film looks perfectly flat.
• Edges: real carbon shows a clean laminate structure where the rim meets the spokes; film peels or looks like paint.
• Surface: real carbon feels smooth, hard and cool to the touch; hydro-dip often feels like thick paint.

If you want the strongest and lightest option, forged carbon uses short carbon fibers pressed under high heat and pressure. It has a distinct marble-like weave and is the premium choice for drivers who track their cars.

Paddle Shifters: What You Need to Know

The B9 S4/S5 and RS models use shift paddles, and the paddle style changes the look of the wheel completely. You can choose a wheel with integrated paddle shifters, or a bare rim that keeps your factory paddles.

Paddles are available in regular carbon or forged carbon. A common combination is a regular carbon rim with forged carbon paddles — the contrast between the two weaves looks factory-plus without being loud. If your configuration is not listed, contact us and we will quote it.

LED Shift Light Wheels

For a more modern look, LED shift light wheels build a light strip into the top of the rim. The light changes with engine RPM or can be set to a static color, giving the wheel a clear visual upgrade at night.

How Customization Works

Every Yeedercar wheel is made to order, so you control the final spec:

1. Choose your base listing. Order the configuration closest to what you want — bare gloss rim, paddles, LED or forged.
2. Confirm your details. After checkout we confirm the full spec with you: carbon finish, leather color, stitching color, stripe color and any logo.
3. Production starts. Once the design is approved, production begins — no changes after that point.
4. QC and shipping. Each wheel is inspected and packed, then shipped with worldwide tracking.

Installation: A Direct Swap

Installation is a direct swap. Your factory airbag, buttons and multifunction module move onto the new wheel, so all controls — volume, cruise, drive modes — keep working exactly as before. No cutting or modification is required.

If your configuration includes LED or heating, wiring to the vehicle’s power source is needed, and we recommend professional installation for that step.

Built in Our Own Factory

Every wheel is hand-laid and fully inspected in our own carbon fiber workshop before packing. Production takes about 10-15 business days because each wheel is built to your specification, and every unit passes full QC for weave consistency, clear coat and fitment.

Warranty and Shipping

• Warranty: 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Report any issue with photos within 30 days of delivery and our team responds within 2 business days.
• Shipping: worldwide tracked shipping. Delivery takes about 7-14 days after dispatch; import duties, if any, are the buyer’s responsibility.
