BMW Carbon Fiber Fenders: The GS, the S1000RR, and Why Fitment Is by Platform, Not Badge
Shop BMW Fenders →BMW riders reach for the word “fender” like it means one part. On a BMW it means three. The GS beak, the S1000RR race fender, and the R nineT retro piece come off three different platforms and bolt to three different mounts. Order by the roundel and you’ll get a part that belongs on a different bike.
On a BMW, fitment is by platform, not the badge. The GS, the RR, and the R nineT share the name — not the fender.
Why carbon on a BMW
BMW already sells its own HP carbon, so the brand gets it. But the weight case is the same everywhere: every gram on the front wheel is unsprung and rotating. On an S1000RR that front fender is the cheapest gram you pull without touching the wheel. On a GS, a carbon beak drops mass from the highest point of the front end — exactly where you don’t want it in the rough. And when the bike goes down, carbon can snap clean instead of folding into the fork.

Common questions
Will a carbon fender fit my BMW?
Send the year, model, and a photo of the stock fender mounting. Fitment is by platform — a GS beak won't fit an RR, and an R nineT is its own shape again.
GS or RR first?
Front first. That's where the unsprung-weight win is real and where the crash behaviour matters most.
Does it need drilling?
No. Our fenders reuse the factory mounts and holes. If a part needs you to drill the fork, it isn't a proper BMW replacement.
What does the warranty cover?
Twelve months against manufacturing defects — de-lamination and a lifting clear coat. Crash damage isn't covered — that's the point of a sacrificial part.
