How Custom Carbon Fiber Parts Are Made
- Mold from the OEM part. We take your model’s factory part and build a mold from it, so the carbon part matches the original geometry exactly — every clip, hole and curve.
- Layup. Carbon fiber sheets are cut and layered in the mold at the correct orientation for strength. This is where the 3K twill weave pattern comes from.
- Cure. The part cures under vacuum and pressure — or in an autoclave for dry carbon — until the resin is fully hardened.
