The mould is taken from the OE cover, so nothing has to be filed or trimmed. On this part the cover separates from the mirror assembly, which is what keeps the job simple.

The cover is built from carbon fiber, then clear coated and buffed flat. The panel stays thin enough to keep the original silhouette.

You do not need a workshop for this for both sides, which leaves the paint underneath untouched. Degrease the factory cover first, warm the tape before you press it down. The tape reaches full strength after about 24 hours.

The default clear coat is matte. Tinted clear coats and logo work under the lacquer are possible on the same order.
