Carbon Fiber Bodywork for Yamaha Custom

A direct replacement panel for the fairing on the Yamaha Custom, moulded from the original shape.

Layered from 3K 2×2 twill and cured under vacuum in our own autoclave, so the resin-to-fiber ratio stays consistent from part to part.

The mould came off an original panel for the Yamaha Custom, so the mounting lugs, bolts and panel gaps line up.

Fasteners transfer from the original panel; allow 30-60 minutes and keep the bolts in order as you remove them.

Bikes with aftermarket exhausts often need the belly pan clearanced slightly – trim it dry, not bolted up.

Weave, weave direction and clear-coat finish are all selected at order time, and the panel can be laid up in forged carbon or twill to match the rest of the bike.

• 3K twill, 6K twill, plain weave or carbon-kevlar hybrid
• Coloured tinted clear coat (red, blue, yellow)
• Logo application or badge cut-outs on request
• Gloss, matte, satin or forged carbon finish

Wash with a soft mitt and a pH-neutral shampoo, and avoid abrasive polishes or machine compounds that cut through the clear coat.

Our plant runs autoclave curing with logged temperature and pressure curves, so if a part ever fails we can trace the batch it came from.

Every unit is checked against a photo checklist – pinholes, weave alignment, mounting-hole position and clear-coat flow – before it is packed.

One piece is fine for a first sample – there is no minimum order. When you need volume, the same mould runs batches of 50, 200 or 1,000+ pieces.
