These need very little looking after, just a pH-neutral wash most of the time. Avoid abrasive polishes — the clear coat handles UV and road salt, it is not a scratch-proof layer.

The pair goes on in an afternoon for both sides, so no drilling or bonding is needed. Degrease the factory cover first, warm the tape before you press it down. Dust under the tape is the usual cause of an edge lifting later.

Finish is gloss over the weave as standard; other weaves (3K twill, 6K twill, plain weave, carbon-kevlar hybrid) can be substituted.
