Finish is matte over the weave as standard. The substitution is free — it only changes the lead time slightly on custom tints.

The packaging is built for a journey rather than a shelf — the shells are light, but the clear coat is what suffers if they are packed loose. If a cover arrives damaged, send a photo the same day and we replace it.

There is nothing fussy about the upkeep: a ceramic or wax coat once a season keeps the clear coat slick. Wash as normal, but skip the abrasive compounds.

The tooling is made from a scan of the original part, so the housing needs no adapters. On this part the cover separates from the mirror assembly, which is what keeps the job simple.

Layup is carbon fiber, with the inside face left clean so the layup is visible. It is not a wrap, a decal or a hydro-dipped film.

It is a straightforward job at the mirror housing itself, so no drilling or bonding is needed. Wipe the housing down with an alcohol wipe and press the covers on from the centre outwards. Work above about 15 °C for the best bond.
