The tooling is made from a scan of the original part, which keeps the edge line identical to the original. On this part the cover separates from the mirror assembly, which is what keeps the job simple.

We run carbon fiber for the outer skin, with the inside face left clean so the layup is visible. It is not a wrap, a decal or a hydro-dipped film.

You do not need a workshop for this on the Tesla Model Y 2021 2023, so nothing structural is touched. Give the surface a proper degrease and press the covers on from the centre outwards. Dust under the tape is the usual cause of an edge lifting later.

Finish is matte over the weave as standard. The substitution is free — it only changes the lead time slightly on custom tints.

Both sides ship in the same carton: foam wrap, corner protection and a double-wall carton. If a cover arrives damaged, send a photo the same day and we replace it.

Maintenance is minimal: a ceramic or wax coat once a season keeps the clear coat slick. Do not machine-polish the edges, where the clear coat is thinnest.
