A carbon fiber mirror caps set for the BMW 5 Series E60 2005 2008 — finished by hand — factory-plus rather than an aftermarket add-on.
Fits: BMW 5 Series E60 2005 2008
At a glance: Material — Carbon Fiber · Finish — Matte · Fixings — Pre-applied 3M tape · Production — 10-15 Business Days · Warranty — 12 Months · Shipping — worldwide tracked (DHL / UPS / FedEx / 4PX)
The cover is built from carbon fiber, then clear coated and buffed flat. It is not a wrap, a decal or a hydro-dipped film.
You do not need a workshop for this on the BMW 5 Series E60 2005 2008, so no drilling or bonding is needed. Give the surface a proper degrease so the tape has a clean surface to key to. The tape reaches full strength after about 24 hours.
Finish is matte over the weave as standard. Tinted clear coats and logo work under the lacquer are possible on the same order.
For cars kept outside, the clear coat matters more than the weave: UV and salt attack the surface long before the laminate underneath.
The packaging is built for a journey rather than a shelf, so the clear coat arrives intact. Tell us if you are ordering other parts for the same car and we will pack them together.
These need very little looking after, and a rinse after winter salt pays for itself. Wash as normal, but skip the abrasive compounds.
The mould is taken from the OE cover, so nothing has to be filed or trimmed. The paint underneath stays untouched.

FAQs
Will these mirror caps fit my BMW 5 Series E60 2005 2008?
They are moulded to the original BMW 5 Series E60 2005 2008 cover, so the tabs and fixings sit in the factory positions. If your car is a facelift or a different trim of the same model, send a photo of the housing and we confirm before you order.
What is the shell actually made from?
The outer skin is carbon fiber, laid up by hand and clear coated. The inside face is left visible, so you can inspect the weave before the covers go on.
How long does fitting take?
About 15-30 minutes for both sides, and no tools beyond a cloth and an alcohol wipe. Warm the housing first in cold weather so the tape bonds properly.
What is the production and delivery time?
Production is 10-15 Business Days, then transit. If you need them for a specific date, message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether the date is achievable.
How is the finish chosen?
These are supplied matte. Gloss, matte, satin and forged patterns, tinted clear coats and logo work under the clear coat can all be substituted when you order.
Is there a warranty?
12 Months against manufacturing defects, covering lifting clear coat, de-lamination and weave faults. Transit damage is replaced as soon as we see a photo.
Do they interfere with the mirror function?
No. Only the outer housing is replaced or covered, so the glass, adjustment motor and any heated function keep working exactly as before on the BMW 5 Series E60 2005 2008.
