SKU: YD-MOTO-222-aprilia-side-panel Category: Tags: , , , ,

A lighter replacement for the standard side panel on the Aprilia 660, with the mounting lugs moulded in.

It weighs a fraction of the steel or plastic original, without the flex you get from a thin fiberglass copy.

Fits: Aprilia 660

Fixing points match the original panel of the Aprilia 660, including the frame grommets.

Unbolt the original panel, transfer the grommets and rubbers, and refit – about 20-30 minutes per side.

Seat and tank shapes change between model years – confirm the year range matches your bike.

Weave, weave direction and clear-coat finish are all selected at order time, and the panel can be laid up in forged carbon or twill to match the rest of the bike.

  • 3K twill, 6K twill, plain weave or carbon-kevlar hybrid
  • Coloured tinted clear coat (red, blue, yellow)
  • Logo application or badge cut-outs on request
  • Gloss, matte, satin or forged carbon finish

A ceramic or wax coat once a season is all this needs – the clear coat handles UV, but it is not a scratch-proof layer.

Because the tooling is in-house, changes that a trader would refuse – a different weave, a logo under the clear coat, a slight trim to clear a roll cage – are normal work for us.

Every unit is checked against a photo checklist – pinholes, weave alignment, mounting-hole position and clear-coat flow – before it is packed.

OEM and private-label work is welcome: your part number, your logo, your packaging, with an NDA if you need one.

Made to order in our workshop, typically 10-15 business days before it ships worldwide with tracking, backed by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

In the box: side panel and a fitting card.

FAQs

Does this side panel fit the Aprilia 660?

Yes. The tooling came off an original Aprilia 660 part, so the bolts and clips line up the same way. The one thing worth checking is the body style: sedan, coupe and estate versions of the same model can use different fixings.

What is it made from?

Carbon fiber, laid up by hand, vacuum bagged and autoclave cured in our own workshop, then finished with a UV-stable clear coat. It is not a hydro-dipped or printed film.

Do I need to drill or cut anything?

Most owners do this at home in about 20-30 minutes with re-uses factory fasteners and grommets and ordinary hand tools – the original fixings are re-used, so nothing needs welding or painting afterwards.

How long until it ships?

Each part is made after you order it, so allow 10-15 business days in production before dispatch. Express DHL, UPS and FedEx options are available, and tracking is sent as soon as it leaves the workshop.

Can you make it in a different finish or colour?

Yes. Gloss, matte, satin and forged carbon are all available, along with tinted clear coats and 3K, 6K or plain weave. Logo and emblem application under the clear coat is possible on most parts.

Do you offer wholesale or OEM pricing for bulk orders?

Yes – one piece is fine for a sample, and the same mould runs batches of 50, 200 or 1,000+ pieces. OEM and private-label work is welcome with your part number, logo and packaging.
