The mould is taken from the OE cover, so the housing needs no adapters. The paint underneath stays untouched.

Layup is carbon fiber, with the inside face left clean so the layup is visible. Any pinholes, resin pooling or weave distortion are rejected before the clear coat goes on.

Most owners do this at home at the mirror housing itself, and the original clips are the only fragile part. Clean the original cover with an alcohol wipe, warm the tape before you press it down. The tape reaches full strength after about 24 hours.

Finish as shown is matte; gloss, matte, satin and forged patterns, tinted clear coats (including red and blue) and logo work are all available at order time.

For cars kept outside, the clear coat matters more than the weave: UV and salt attack the surface long before the laminate underneath.

Each pair is packed with foam wrap and corner protection — the shells are light, but the clear coat is what suffers if they are packed loose. The warranty runs 12 Months and covers manufacturing defects such as lifting clear coat and de-lamination.

There is nothing fussy about the upkeep, just a pH-neutral wash most of the time. Do not machine-polish the edges, where the clear coat is thinnest.
