The outer shell is carbon fiber, then clear coated and buffed flat. Any pinholes, resin pooling or weave distortion are rejected before the clear coat goes on.

It is a straightforward job once the original covers are free, so nothing structural is touched. Clean the original cover with an alcohol wipe and press the covers on from the centre outwards. A hair dryer helps in cold weather.

Finish as shown is gloss. Tinted clear coats and logo work under the lacquer are possible on the same order.
