The cover is built from carbon fiber, with the inside face left clean so the layup is visible. The panel stays thin enough to keep the original silhouette.
The pair goes on in an afternoon once the original covers are free, so the car can be returned to standard later. Clean the original cover with an alcohol wipe and press the covers on from the centre outwards. Dust under the tape is the usual cause of an edge lifting later.
The default clear coat is matte. Tinted clear coats and logo work under the lacquer are possible on the same order.
If the original covers on your BMW E90 are scuffed rather than cracked, keep them as spares and put the new set on straight away.
The cartons are double-walled for export, with tracking on every shipment. If a cover arrives damaged, send a photo the same day and we replace it.
Keeping them clean is easy: a ceramic or wax coat once a season keeps the clear coat slick. Do not machine-polish the edges, where the clear coat is thinnest.
The shape is pulled from the original BMW E90 housing, so nothing has to be filed or trimmed. The paint underneath stays untouched.

Will these mirror covers fit my BMW E90?
They are moulded to the original BMW E90 cover, so the tabs and fixings sit in the factory positions. If your car is a facelift or a different trim of the same model, send a photo of the housing and we confirm before you order.
Is it Carbon Fiber?
Carbon Fiber is used for the outer shell and finished with a UV-stable clear coat. It is not a wrap, a decal or a printed film — you can see the layup from the inside face.
How long does fitting take?
About 15-30 minutes for both sides, and no tools beyond a cloth and an alcohol wipe. Warm the housing first in cold weather so the tape bonds properly.
How long before they ship?
Production is 10-15 Business Days, then transit. If you need them for a specific date, message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether the date is achievable.
How is the finish chosen?
These are supplied matte. Gloss, matte, satin and forged patterns, tinted clear coats and logo work under the clear coat can all be substituted when you order.
Is there a warranty?
12 Months against manufacturing defects, covering lifting clear coat, de-lamination and weave faults. Transit damage is replaced as soon as we see a photo.
Do they interfere with the mirror function?
No. Only the outer housing is replaced or covered, so the glass, adjustment motor and any heated function keep working exactly as before on the BMW E90.
