The tooling is made from a scan of the original part, so the housing needs no adapters. Test-fit before you commit the tape — trim level can change the housing even when the shape looks the same.

Layup is carbon fiber, with the inside face left clean so the layup is visible. The panel stays thin enough to keep the original silhouette.

Most owners do this at home at the mirror housing itself, so no drilling or bonding is needed. Degrease the factory cover first, warm the tape before you press it down. The tape reaches full strength after about 24 hours.

The default clear coat is matte; gloss, matte, satin and forged patterns, tinted clear coats (including red and blue) and logo work are all available at order time.

Owners usually notice the difference most at a distance, where the BMW 5 6 7 Series G11 G12 G30 G31 GT G32 2017 2018 silhouette is what people actually read — these sharpen that line without changing it.

The packaging is built for a journey rather than a shelf, so the clear coat arrives intact. The warranty runs 12 Months and covers manufacturing defects such as lifting clear coat and de-lamination.

For bulk orders we quote from your drawing, scan or sample part; new tooling usually takes 15-25 days, then each batch runs in 20-35 days depending on quantity.
