It is a straightforward job once the original covers are free, so the car can be returned to standard later. Give the surface a proper degrease, warm the tape before you press it down. Dust under the tape is the usual cause of an edge lifting later.

The default clear coat is matte. Tinted clear coats and logo work under the lacquer are possible on the same order.

If the original covers on your BMW 1 3 Series F20 are scuffed rather than cracked, keep them as spares and put the new set on straight away.

The cartons are double-walled for export — the shells are light, but the clear coat is what suffers if they are packed loose. We have shipped this part family to more than thirty countries.
