We work from the factory Volkswagen Passat CC 09 14 cover, so the clips and screw bosses sit in the factory positions. No cutting and no drilling is involved.

The shell is laid up by hand in carbon fiber, cured in our own autoclave and finished with a UV-stable clear coat. The panel stays thin enough to keep the original silhouette.

This is a driveway job at the mirror housing itself, and the original clips are the only fragile part. Degrease the factory cover first so the tape has a clean surface to key to. A hair dryer helps in cold weather.

The default clear coat is matte; for restoration or dealer work we reproduce a factory-matched tint.

Detailers usually ask us for a set with the weave rotated to match the bonnet vents; it is a small thing that reads well in close-up photos.

Each pair is packed with foam wrap and corner protection — the shells are light, but the clear coat is what suffers if they are packed loose. If a cover arrives damaged, send a photo the same day and we replace it.

There is nothing fussy about the upkeep, and a rinse after winter salt pays for itself. Avoid abrasive polishes — the clear coat handles UV and road salt, it is not a scratch-proof layer.

We are the manufacturer, so quantity pricing starts from small runs — the tooling is the only fixed cost and it is amortised across the batch, with production then running in 20-35 day batches.
