The cartons are double-walled for export, so the clear coat arrives intact. The warranty runs 12 Months and covers manufacturing defects such as lifting clear coat and de-lamination.

These need very little looking after, and a rinse after winter salt pays for itself. Do not machine-polish the edges, where the clear coat is thinnest.

The tooling comes off the factory Volkswagen Scirocco part, so the housing needs no adapters. On this part the cover separates from the mirror assembly, which is what keeps the job simple.

Layup is carbon fiber, cured in our own autoclave and finished with a UV-stable clear coat. Reflections stay straight instead of rippling across the weave.

The job is fully reversible for both sides, so the car can be returned to standard later. Degrease the factory cover first so the tape has a clean surface to key to. Dust under the tape is the usual cause of an edge lifting later.

Standard output is matte. Tinted clear coats and logo work under the lacquer are possible on the same order.

If the original covers on your Volkswagen Scirocco are scuffed rather than cracked, keep them as spares and put the new set on straight away.
