The shape is pulled from the original BMW E87 E82 05 08 housing, so nothing has to be filed or trimmed. On this part the cover separates from the mirror assembly, which is what keeps the job simple.

The cover is built from carbon fiber, cured in our own autoclave and finished with a UV-stable clear coat. Weave direction is matched left to right, which two covers bought separately rarely achieve.

You do not need a workshop for this on the BMW E87 E82 05 08, so no drilling or bonding is needed. Clean the original cover with an alcohol wipe and hold each cover for thirty seconds. A hair dryer helps in cold weather.

Shipped as matte; other weaves (3K twill, 6K twill, plain weave, carbon-kevlar hybrid) can be substituted.

Detailers usually ask us for a set with the weave rotated to match the bonnet vents; it is a small thing that reads well in close-up photos.

The packaging is built for a journey rather than a shelf: foam wrap, corner protection and a double-wall carton. The warranty runs 12 Months and covers manufacturing defects such as lifting clear coat and de-lamination.

Maintenance is minimal; a wax or ceramic topper once or twice a year is enough. Avoid abrasive polishes — the clear coat handles UV and road salt, it is not a scratch-proof layer.
